Jen Gold grew up in Lake Cowichan and after living in Vancouver and Victoria, moved “home” permanently in 2019. The natural beauty of the Cowichan Lake area and the West Coast of the island greatly influence Jen’s art and lifestyle.
Jen was always creating and artistic as a child. In 2003 Jen attended Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design, but it was not until 2014 that she began to create art regularly. Jen currently paints landscapes, florals and portraits in acrylic and draws realistic renderings in pen. Everything about life inspires Jen, especially the natural world. When she is not creating or spending time with her dream man, son and daughter you will find her meditating, reading, hiking, biking, swimming, paddle boarding, cooking, gardening, on a beach or in the forest. She is passionate about awakening, 5D consciousness, raising her vibration and living fully from her heart space.
Jen has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions on Southern Vancouver Island, including the juried show in Victoria, Now!
Her awards include 2nd place for her drawing, “A Rose on Black” in Fort St. John and the People’s Choice Award at the 2019 Annual Kaatza Art Show for her drawing, “Orchids in Black & White”. In 2018 Jen spent a month as the artist in residence at the Parkside Hotel & Spa in Victoria, BC. Her drawings have been published in two, California-based colouring books and a float-inspired art book in Victoria. She has taught numerous private and public art classes, working with kids and adults, including Queen of Angels School. She has been commissioned to create 65+ works of art. Jen Gold’s art is held in private collections in California, Texas and across Canada.
